Mantra Meditation

Have you ever started meditating and then a phrase popped into your head and you couldn't get it out? Well, maybe that's because your Spirit guide wanted you to receive the message. Sometime repetitive words, phrases, or mantras are more relaxing than silence, and they help with a vibrational sound wave to ease your body and mind.

So what is Mantra Meditation? Think of a mantra — a word or phrase you repeat during meditation — as a tool to help release your mind. It can make a lot of difference, especially if you have trouble concentrating or getting in the right frame of mind. Many people find that using a mantra can boost awareness and improve concentration.

How do you chose a mantra? That's up to you! It can be as simple as "Let Go" or as detailed as a traditional mantra such as: Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu. But the key is to remember it enough to say it many many times.

Set your intention! - No matter what type of meditation you are doing it's very important that you set the mood, speak your intentions out so the universe can hear you. Be Clear! Be present.

Recently I recorded myself during my own Mantra meditation. My life has been very busy, and strange and I've had to repeat my mantra to myself very often.

"Go with the flow.

Stay rooted,

and keep your cool."
